Sompo has a unique opportunity for a Working Student in our Product Development team.

Sompo’s Product Development team for Continental Europe supports the development and maintenance of insurance products across the region. The team contributes to market entry and business growth by developing new products, maintaining existing product documentation, supporting complex transactions with legal advice, and managing Conduct Risk, including Product Oversight and Governance processes.

Our business, your impact, our opportunity:

What you’ll be doing:

• Support the maintenance and quality control of insurance product documentation, including maintaining and updating repositories.
• Assist with legal and regulatory research relevant to product development.
• Review and revise translations of insurance products and related documents.
• Contribute to wording revisions.
• Produce Insurance Product Information Documents, customer information documents and similar required documents.
• Support AI use cases, in particular in relation to legal and product-related work.

What you’ll bring:

• Current advanced studies in law or another legal background suitable for understanding the legal basis of the work
• Interest in insurance products, product development and legal/regulatory topics.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with product documentation and translations.
• Fluent German and English language skills; French is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI applications, in particular for legal work, would be ideal.

• Fixed term contract (FTE 40% – 60%)
