Position Summary The Yacht Logistics Manager (Storekeeper) is responsible for managing the onboard warehouse efficiently, ensuring that all spare parts, consumables, and equipment are stored and organized according to company policies. This role involves maintaining stock levels, conducting inventories, and handling all aspects of warehousing and storekeeping on an ultra-luxury ocean-going yacht. The Logistics Manager works closely with the engineering team to ensure materials are available when needed and that all processes comply with operational standards. Desired Skills and Capabilities People Management: Ability to lead and coordinate with the engineering and logistics teams. Guest Experience Excellence: Understand the importance of operational excellence in supporting guest satisfaction. Profit and Operational Oversight: Manage stock and resources to prevent overstocking and understocking. Quality and Compliance: Maintain adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. Strategic Planning and Innovation: Plan ahead for logistical needs and improve inventory processes. Yacht Integration: Understand how logistics supports broader yacht operations. Education Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred. Additional logistics or warehousing certifications are an advantage. Experience Warehouse and inventory management experience, preferably maritime or luxury yacht industry. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems. Familiarity with InfoSHIP and Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS). Travel Requirements Must be able and willing to travel internationally and work aboard the yacht for extended periods. Position Responsibilities Warehouse Management: Manage stores, stock levels, storage systems, and access control. Inventory and Stock Control: Conduct inventory reviews, verify deliveries, maintain records, and manage manifests. Data Management and Systems: Maintain inventory and procurement data in InfoSHIP and related systems. Logistics and Provisioning: Coordinate supply, storage, and movement of goods. Health and Safety: Support HESS compliance and onboard safety culture.
