YouTube Content Writer (Tax)

Contract Role

Schedule: Open to Part-Time or Full-Time

Compensation: $25 - $45/hr based on experience

Location: Remote (we are not able to hire in CA or NY at this time)

About the Role

If you’re a creative writer who can make tax social media content scroll-stopping, this is your opportunity to shape how business owners and real estate investors learn about smart tax strategy on YouTube and Instagram.

At DiLucci, we help business owners and real estate investors make smarter financial decisions through strategic tax planning, tax preparation, accounting, and IRS services. Our media arm puts that expertise in front of the right audience, and we’re looking for a content writer who can turn complex tax topics into content people actually stop to watch, read, and share.

You’ll prep content for our Tax Attorney and CPA so they can show up camera-ready, with scripts, talking points, and formats they can use without reworking. You’ll research and write tax content, pull ideas and information from other tax channels and sources, and create strong hooks and formats that keep audiences engaged from the first second. You’ll also coordinate with our media team as needed to make sure content is executed well and delivered on schedule.

We value accuracy, clarity, and audience-first storytelling over jargon and fluff. The ideal candidate knows how to research, simplify complicated topics, spot what’s working on social, and write in a voice that builds trust with the core audience.

What You'll Do

  • Prep scripts, talking points, and content outlines for our Tax Attorney and CPA so they can record without needing to rework

  • Research and write tax content for social media and supporting copy, including captions, posts, and other written materials

  • Pull ideas and information from other tax channels and sources, and turn them into original, accurate content

  • Create strong hooks and formats that capture attention and keep audiences watching, reading, and engaging

  • Manage and direct the media team as needed to execute content from concept through delivery

  • Keep content accurate and aligned with the firm’s voice, brand, and professional standards

  • Track what’s performing across platforms and use those insights to improve future content

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience writing for social media and short-form video

  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics without losing accuracy

  • Skill at writing hooks and attention-grabbing openers

  • Strong research skills and comfort digging into technical subject matter

  • Experience working with, directing, or coordinating a media or video team

  • Ability to write in a clear, trustworthy voice for business owners and investors

  • Strong organization and the ability to manage multiple content deadlines at once

  • Familiarity with current social media trends, formats, and best practices

  • Tax, accounting, or finance knowledge is a major plus

  • Experience writing for a professional services audience is a plus

  • Preferred: Tax related experience or work on 100k + sub YT accounts
