Role Description

The YouTube Video Spokesperson is a remote contract role focused on presenting on-camera content for Playstack’s client channels. Responsibilities include hosting and narrating videos, delivering scripts (provided by Playstack) clearly and confidently, and collaborating with producers on storyboards and talking points. The role involves recording video segments, providing multiple takes as needed, and working closely with the video production and editing teams to ensure high-quality final content.

The spokesperson will help maintain a consistent brand voice and persona across episodes.

Qualifications

• Strong on-camera presence with excellent Communication skills and the ability to explain concepts clearly and engagingly.
• Familiarity with Video Production workflows and the ability to take direction from producers and creative leads.
• Basic awareness of Video Editing processes to collaborate effectively with editors and refine on-screen delivery.
• Interest or experience in Marketing, especially for SaaS or EdTech brands, and comfort aligning messaging with brand guidelines.
• Reliable remote work setup, including suitable camera, microphone, lighting, and a quiet recording environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines, respond to feedback constructively, and adjust delivery style based on audience needs.
• Prior experience as a host, presenter, educator, or content creator is beneficial; knowledge of SaaS or EdTech topics is a plus.
