𝗗𝗜𝗔𝗚𝗡𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗦 𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗥 – 𝗔𝗨𝗧𝗢𝗠𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘 The role involves developing diagnostic tools for testing and calibration, as well as fault-tracing and troubleshooting strategies. 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 We are looking for an experienced 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 to join an automotive development team working with off-board diagnostics solutions. The role involves developing diagnostic service tools for testing and calibration, fault tracing, and troubleshooting strategies. You will need a strong understanding of the complete vehicle platform, including dependencies between vehicle functions and how end users interact with diagnostic tools and vehicles in the aftermarket. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 * Develop diagnostic service tool operations for testing and calibration * Develop fault-tracing steps * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create optimal aftermarket solutions * Verify diagnostic operations on test rigs and complete vehicles * Develop troubleshooting strategies for DTCs and relevant vehicle/component symptoms * Contribute actively within an Agile development environment * Analyse and implement engineering specifications * Support problem-solving and develop creative solutions for complex diagnostic cases 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 * Minimum 4–5 years of hands-on Embedded Software experience * Automotive experience is strongly preferred * Experience with 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲-𝗫 or aftermarket diagnostic tools and technologies * Solid understanding of electrical system architecture * Strong understanding at the complete vehicle level * Ability to read, analyse and implement engineering specifications * Previous experience working in an Agile team * Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills * 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 – written and spoken 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 🔹 Experience with automotive diagnostics 🔹 Volvo Group software processes/aftermarket area 🔹 Automotive software tools and frameworks 🔹 Diagnostic service tools 🔹 DTC troubleshooting and fault tracing 🔹 Vehicle-level diagnostics 🔹 Test rig and complete vehicle verification 🔹 Agile development 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁: This is a 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗻-𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 role in Gothenburg, with work from the office 5 days per week.
