Internship Solutions Platforms Engineered
Solar Turbines’ engineering intern positions are created to provide students with challenging projects that play a key role in supporting gas turbine
package
and system design, as well as associated development activities. Under the guidance of mentors, students are given a meaningful work experience while gaining exposure to the entire corporate environment. This includes training courses, networking events, and facility tours, along with a challenging project assignment to complete that enables them the opportunity to apply classroom education to real work situations. Positions are available in mechanical, controls, systems,
software
and display development fields.

Minimum Qualifications
:
Currently
in the process of obtaining
a 4-year or advanced-degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant
degree
Must be classified by school in Fall
2026
as one of the following: Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Graduate
student
Overall GPA of at least
2.8
on a 4.0 scale
Preferred Qualifications
:
Knowledge of engineering fundamentals
Ability to work well in a team environment, as well as
individually
Previous
Internship
experience
Problem solving
skills
High energy level and sense of urgency
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good business / technical judgment
Ability to handle multiple priorities for a variety of
tasks
Summary Pay Range:
$26.00 - $43.00
Intern Hourly Rate:
An intern's hourly rate is based on the major/degree being pursued and the number of completed academic hours achieved before the start of the internship.
