This internship will follow an in-person model. Interns will be based at the Stellantis Headquarters and Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The intern will gain hands-on experience working with visualization, animation, and media production tools while supporting active design and digital modeling projects. The ideal candidate should have an interest in visualization, animation, digital media, or related creative/technical fields. This role requires a willingness to learn, strong attention to detail, and the ability to take direction and feedback from project leads. Since project needs may change throughout the development process, flexibility, professionalism, and a positive team-oriented attitude are important. The intern may be exposed to tools such as Autodesk VRED, Unreal Engine, Maya, Adobe Creative Suite, and other visualization or media applications. (i.e., if a full model is presented, explain if you were responsible for the full model or if your involvement was limited to specific areas of the model) BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in transportation design, Visual Communication Design, Graphic Design, User Experience Design, or Animation Design Basic experience in visualization, animation, digital media, 3D modeling, or related software Familiarity with tools such as Autodesk VRED, Maya, Unreal Engine, Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, or similar applications Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week during the internship Willingness to relocate for internship Completion of freshman year or higher at an accredited college or university by Spring 2027 Authorized to work in the United States Candidates must submit a current portfolio (specifically highlighting automotive design projects if applicable) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to follow direction, ask questions, and apply feedback. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new tools and processes. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Creative mindset with an interest in visual composition, animation, rendering, or digital content creation. Basic understanding of video editing, image editing, or presentation asset development. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach. Interest in supporting design and digital modeling teams with compelling visual assets. Coursework, personal projects, or portfolio examples related to visualization, animation, design, digital media, or 3D content creation.
