3D reconstruction/CV developer

About the role Augrade is on a mission to enable Humans to build infrastructure on Earth & Beyond. Augmenting human capabilities & civilization by empowering the technical & non-technical users to design, predict costs & schedules of construction projects. You will be working directly on all our 3D reconstruction efforts such as real-time procedural 3D generations, CV models. You will be working closely with the platforms team & the founders. What you’ll do Develop and adapt advanced computer vision and state-of-the-art deep learning techniques for object detection/ classification/ segmentation. Research and prototype techniques and algorithms for procedural 3D reconstruction based on 2D raster/vector inputs. Plan and execute cutting-edge research to advance machine perception technology and image context understanding. Develop novel real-time 3D scene understanding techniques. About you (Qualifications etc) 5+ yrs experience OR technically challenging projects in CV + 3D generation/design world. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python/C++ and experience with computer vision libraries (e.g., OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch). Knowledge in image analysis, machine learning, information theory, and 3D geometry. Understanding of 3D tools & architectures. Strong expertise in deep learning frameworks and architectures, including experience with GNN & RNNs. Skills in data preprocessing, augmentation, and annotation for computer vision tasks. Experience with deploying computer vision systems in production environments. Above all else, genuine passion for the 3D world & being a Fast learner. Good to have Background in or experience with Structural, Architectural, Mechanical or Electrical engineering field. Experience working with NERFs, BIM, 3D reconstruction. Experience solving challenges related to 3D scene and object reconstruction & object detection. Experience with parametric/procedural mesh generation Experience with diffusion models, CV or Neural networks. Benefits Unlimited PTO/sick leave. ESOPs (For select candidates).
