Academic Clinical Pathology Hematopathologist/Molecular Pathologist Opportunity in Greenville, NC

ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Medical Center, located in Greenville, North Carolina, are seeking a Clinical Pathologist with expertise in Hematopathology and/or Molecular pathology. The successful applicant will join an established clinical pathology program to support high-quality patient care and provide expert clinical consultation.

Applicants should be board certified or board eligible in clinical pathology or combined anatomic pathology and clinical pathology as well as fellowship trained in Hematopathology and/or Molecular Genetic pathology. New Graduates and visas can apply.

  • Hospital privileges at ECU Health Medical Center, a 974-bed tertiary care referral center-2 nd largest hospital in North Carolina
  • Established pathology program inclusive of 7 clinical pathologists, 11 surgical pathologists, and an AP/CP residency program
  • Clinical responsibilities will include:
    • Split coverage between hematopathology and molecular pathology service
    • Participate in after hours, weekend, and holiday on call coverage for clinical pathology services
    • Support continuous quality improvement and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Academic employment at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor with the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University with teaching responsibilities of pathology residents
  • Clinical research opportunities exist but are not required
