Accountant - Banking / Financial Services

Candidates with a Sponsor visa / Family Visa are allowed to apply, as the contract is short-term.

Key Responsibilities

Accountant Expense Control: Perform budget checking and expense tracking, and initiate and monitor the required approval processes.

Accounting: Maintain and update General Ledger (GL) trackers and prepare Journal Vouchers (JVs).

Reconciliation: Perform Nostro reconciliations, review #Nostro statements, circulate statements to relevant stakeholders, and follow up on reconciliation items.

VAT Support: Assist with VAT-related activities, including invoicing, maintaining VAT records, and updating VAT returns.

Reporting: Support Management Information System (MIS) reporting and assist with regulatory reporting requirements.

Operational Support: Provide day-to-day operational and accounting support to the Support Services function and undertake any other relevant responsibilities assigned by the Head of Support Services
