Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy Idaho Physical Therapist License BLS Certification (or completion upon hire) Preferred: Driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance Key Responsibilities: Provide patient-centered physical therapy within established standards and practices. Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to optimize patient outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation, treatment plans, and prescriptions. Conduct thorough assessments and adjust care plans for optimal results. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Uphold organizational policies, safety standards, and confidentiality protocols. Promote a positive and professional environment in alignment with The Gritman Way. Physical Demands: Lift up to 75 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently. Assist patients with transfers and mobility up to 24 times daily. Perform fine motor skills for treatments and therapies. Stand/walk up to 3 hours continuously and 8 hours daily. Drive up to 90 minutes at a time and 4 hours daily. Maintain balance and coordination for patient ambulation and therapies. Environmental Considerations: Work primarily in clinic/hospital settings with potential exposure to bio-hazardous materials and infectious diseases. Occasional exposure to outdoor and therapy pool environments. Ensure adherence to safety and infection control measures.
