Build your advanced cardiac imaging practice with an established, comprehensive cardiovascular program in the heart of Utah’s Wasatch Mountains.

Intermountain Health is seeking a fellowship-trained Advanced Imaging Cardiologist to join our cardiovascular team at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah. This is an opportunity to step into a growing advanced imaging program with strong clinical volumes, a large multidisciplinary cardiovascular team, and the support of one of the Mountain West’s leading integrated health systems

You’ll join a well-established cardiovascular service line that includes:

• 15 cardiologists
• 3 cardiothoracic surgeons
• 3 vascular surgeons
• 20+ cardiovascular APPs
• Full-service electrophysiology
• Dedicated heart failure and structural heart programs
• An existing dedicated advanced imaging cardiologist, along with two general cardiologists who provide cardiac CT/MRI interpretation
• Growing imaging volumes that support the addition of another dedicated advanced imager
• Call approximately 1:10

This is an excellent opportunity for an advanced imager who wants to practice within a collaborative cardiovascular program while helping meet the continued growth and demand for sophisticated cardiac imaging.

Compensation & benefits

Intermountain Health offers a highly competitive compensation and benefits package, including:

• $653,000 starting base salary
• Up to $60,000 in Continuous Improvement Pay, beginning in year two
• $30,000 starting bonus
• Up to $20,000 relocation assistance, if applicable
• Up to $4,500 annually for CME
• Paid time off

What we’re looking for

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school
• Completion, or current completion, of a dedicated one- or two-year advanced cardiac imaging fellowship
• Level III training in Cardiac CT and Cardiac MRI
• Experience with structural echo procedural guidance is a plus, but not required
• Current fellows and new graduates are encouraged to apply
