About Us

We are a Chinese leading manufacturer of medium & high voltage power transformers and electrical equipment. To support our data center projects across the US, we are hiring local after-sales service engineers to take full ownership of transformer commissioning, testing, acceptance and warranty support for our customers in North America.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Equipment Inspection & Technical Disclosure — Handle site acceptance of medium/high voltage dry‑type & oil‑immersed transformers (15kV/35kV) for data centers; verify equipment parameters, accessories and factory documents, inspect for transit damage, and provide installation technical disclosure to construction crews per manufacturer standards to prevent installation‑caused failures.
  2. Full Commissioning & Testing — Independently perform complete acceptance tests including DC resistance, turns ratio, insulation, withstand voltage and grounding; verify tap changers, temperature control systems, cooling fans and protection accessories; match on‑site system voltage parameters to ensure performance meets factory standards and US codes.
  3. System Interlock Commissioning & Troubleshooting — Coordinate interlock testing with switchgear, secondary circuits and relay protection systems; verify wiring logic and protection settings; identify and rectify manufacturer‑side issues in wiring, function adaptation and parameter matching.
  4. Acceptance Support & Documentation — Cooperate with owner, EPC and third‑party NETA testing and local grid acceptance; provide factory qualification documents, test data and technical explanations; close out equipment issues raised during acceptance and issue compliant English test reports, commissioning records and after‑sales handover documents.
  5. On‑site Warranty & Trial Operation Support — Supervise no‑load and load trial operation of transformers; monitor temperature rise, abnormal noise, oil level and control signals; anticipate and handle equipment abnormalities to ensure smooth commissioning.
  6. Technical Liaison & After‑sales Support — Act as the sole on‑site technical contact; respond to owner/EPC technical inquiries, explain operation, maintenance and service specifications, and report on‑site issues to headquarters with closed‑loop service ticket follow‑up.
  7. Warranty Maintenance & Fault Handling — Handle transformer fault diagnosis, repair and component replacement during warranty; maintain equipment operation and fault logs; provide routine on‑site after‑sales technical support and complete final project handover.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering / Automation or related fields; age 25–50.
  2. 5+ years of hands‑on experience in transformer after‑sales, commissioning or testing, with strong knowledge of US‑standard 15kV/35kV data center dry‑type & oil‑immersed transformers (structure, factory standards, performance parameters); proficient in operating full HV testing equipment and independently completing commissioning, performance testing and data analysis.
  3. Familiar with US data center high‑redundancy power supply architecture, grid connection and trial operation codes; able to coordinate with construction, EPC and grid parties for equipment acceptance and commissioning.
  4. Proven ability to quickly diagnose and rectify common transformer faults (electrical, control, temperature, protection matching) on site.
  5. Required certifications:NFPA 70E Qualified Person;OSHA 1910.269;OSHA 10/30‑hr Construction;CPR & First Aid.
  6. Preferred certifications:NETA Technician / Senior Technician;NICET Power Testing Level II–IV.
  7. Fluent English for on‑site communication with foreign owners, EPC contractors and testing agencies; able to write English test reports, commissioning records and acceptance documents per US acceptance standards (NEC / NFPA 70E / OSHA 1910.269 compliance).
  8. US local resident or authorized to work in the US; willing to travel / be stationed at data center project sites.
