Odysseus Space is looking for a full-time AIT lead engineer, who will help Odysseus Space to achieve its goal of building the orbital data grid.
Qualifications
At least 8 years of relevant professional experience.
Master’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, or equivalent.
Demonstrate great attention to detail, takes pride in high standard execution of tasks.
Experience with cleanroom and laboratory work, and ideally with high power lasers.
- Is familiar with Microsoft Office Suite & Teams or can learn fast.
Excellent verbal & written communicator in English, with great interpersonal skills.
Experience writing quality technical documentation.
Citizenship from a member state from EU/ NATO.
Responsibilities
Setting up and implementing Assembly, Integration and Testing plans.
Writing and performing Assembly, Integration and Testing procedures.
Setting up the best practices and tools in the new AIT department.
Manage the AIT engineers (this includes clarifying tasks, reviewing outputs, managing workload and mentoring junior engineers).
Perform the Validation and Verification of products with the Systems Engineering dept.
Participate in the product design phases to improve manufacturability.
Documentation (internal and external) writing and review.
