What you will do
The Security Screening and Access Programs team plays a critical role in protecting the Bank's employees, information, assets, and operations by ensuring that individuals entrusted with access to Bank facilities, information, systems, and assets meet established security requirements. The team delivers personnel security screening services that support informed decision-making while maintaining the highest standards of integrity, fairness, privacy, and security.
As a Security Screening Analyst, you will support the delivery and continuous improvement of the Bank's personnel security screening program. You will manage security screening cases, analyze information from multiple sources, provide advice to stakeholders, and support screening decisions through sound analysis, judgement, and professional recommendations.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and coordinate personnel security screening cases throughout the screening lifecycle while ensuring service standards, timelines, and quality requirements are met.
- Review, analyze, and assess information from multiple sources to support personnel security screening activities and recommendations.
- Conduct research, verification, and fact-finding activities to validate information and support security screening assessments.
- Identify issues, inconsistencies, or concerns requiring additional review, analysis, or follow-up.
- Document findings and prepare clear, concise assessments, recommendations, correspondence, and case summaries.
- Interpret and apply security screening policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines to support consistent and risk-informed decision-making.
- Provide advice, guidance, and responsive client service to hiring managers, applicants, Human Resources partners, and other stakeholders regarding security screening requirements, processes, and timelines.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to support onboarding, offboarding, access management, and workforce security initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records and case files in accordance with privacy, information management, and security requirements.
- Monitor workload, service standards, and operational performance measures and contribute to reporting and quality assurance activities.
- Support process improvements, modernization initiatives, and technology-enabled solutions that enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and client experience of the Bank's personnel security program.

- Experience supporting operational reporting, quality assurance, or continuous improvement initiatives.
Your education and experience
This position requires a university degree or college diploma in criminology, security management, intelligence studies, public administration, business administration, law, risk management, or another related discipline and a minimum of two years of relevant experience in personnel security screening, investigations, security administration, risk assessment, compliance, intelligence, human resources, law enforcement, access management, or a related field.
You must also have experience:
- Reviewing, analyzing, and synthesizing information from multiple sources.
- Preparing written assessments, reports, recommendations, briefing materials, or correspondence.
- Interpreting and applying policies, procedures, standards, directives, or regulatory requirements.
- Providing advice, guidance, or client service to internal or external stakeholders.
- Using Microsoft 365 applications and electronic information-management, workflow, or case-management systems.

Language requirement
The Bank’s work environment is conducive to the use of both of Canada’s official languages - English and French. The position language requirement is Level 5 (Fully Functional). Hybrid Work Model
The Bank offers work arrangements that provide employees with flexibility, enable high-performing teams, and support an excellent workplace culture. Most employees can telework from home for a portion of each month as part of the Bank’s hybrid work model, and they are expected on site at the Bank location a minimum of 12 days per month to help build connections between colleagues. You must live in Canada, and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.

- Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $66,179 to $77,858 (job grade 13)
- The Bank offers an incentive for successfully meeting expectations at 3 to 5% of your base salary. The Bank offers additional performance pay (2%) for those who exceed expectations. Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.
