Job Description:

As an Analytical Services Intern at Schreiber Foods, you will have the opportunity to assist the Analytical Services team with the execution and continuous improvement of analytical chemistry programs that support Schreiber's global manufacturing network. You will gain hands-on experience supporting laboratory methods, analytical technologies, data analysis initiatives, and special projects while also performing routine laboratory testing at the Corporate Laboratory. This role provides exposure to both day-to-day laboratory operations and broader analytical programs that support manufacturing sites across Schreiber Foods.

This position is based on site at Schreiber Foods' Corporate Laboratory in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Our ideal intern will work part-time (15-20 hours per week) during the school year and full-time (40 hours per week) during summer and winter breaks. Hours are flexible between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

What You'll Do

• Assist the Analytical Services team with day-to-day operations and technical support activities.
• Support execution and continuous improvement of analytical programs.
• Assist with analytical method verification, validation, optimization, and troubleshooting projects.
• Support calibration, proficiency testing, and data review activities for laboratory programs.
• Compile, analyze, and visualize laboratory data using tools such as Excel, Power BI, and other reporting platforms.
• Assist with laboratory equipment evaluations, technology trials, and special projects.
• Perform routine analytical testing of dairy ingredients, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Support laboratory audit preparation, documentation activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Complete projects as directed by leadership.

What You Will Need to Succeed

• Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, Nutrition, Engineering, Data Analytics, or another related scientific field, or an Associate's degree in a laboratory science-related program.
• Duration: Ongoing until graduation (full-time in summer, at least 15-20 hours per week during the school year).
• Background working in a laboratory environment.
• Knowledge of statistics and data analysis principles.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Interest in analytical chemistry, laboratory technologies, and the food industry.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
