Job Title: Analytics Engineer Requisition ID: R027920 Job Description: Job Title : Analytics Engineer – Mobile Marketing Reporting To: Lead Analytics Engineer Department : Global Analytics Location: Santa Monica We are looking for an Analytics Engineer to support mobile marketing analytics operations and the data systems that power marketing measurement, attribution, and reporting. This role combines production analytics operations with analytics engineering development, balancing the support of existing data systems with the design and implementation of new data solutions. Responsibilities Own the operation, reliability, and continuous improvement of marketing analytics data pipelines, data products, and related systems. Investigate and resolve data quality issues, pipeline failures, and reporting discrepancies through root-cause analysis and remediation. Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, transformations, analytical datasets, and reporting-ready data assets using SQL and Python. Partner with analytics, engineering, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, communicate findings, and deliver effective solutions. What will you bring to the team A structured and methodical approach to problem solving. Curiosity and ownership when investigating complex or ambiguous issues. Strong technical foundations in data engineering and analytics engineering concepts, with the ability to understand, troubleshoot, and improve complex data pipelines and systems. Ability to communicate technical findings, issues, and recommendations in a clear and structured manner. Good judgment when balancing operational needs, technical debt, and long-term solutions. Minimum Requirement 2 + year s of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, business intelligence engineering, or a related data-focused role. Experience supporting, monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in production data pipelines and workflow orchestration platforms (such as Airflow, Dagster , Prefect, Azure Data Factory, or similar). Strong SQL and Python skills for data analysis, transformation, automation, and troubleshooting. Experience using Git and GitHub in a collaborative development environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create and maintain technical documentation. Preferred Experience with Apache Airflow. Experience with dbt , Airbyte , Databricks, or equivalent modern data platforms. Experience working with marketing attribution, campaign measurement, or marketing data systems. Familiarity with reverse ETL concepts and audience activation workflows. Exposure to data governance, privacy, or compliance-related data practices. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location.
