What You Will Be Doing

You will be an Applications Engineer - Level 2 for the Operations Systems & Modeling (OSM) organization responsible for supporting Aeronautics MES Acceleration (MESA) and 1LMX to deliver the Apriso Manufacturing Execution System (MES) across the different business areas within the corporation.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Gather and assess information on company products and competing equipment.
  • Stay current on hardware and software developments to inform solution design.
  • Analyze customer problems and assist in creating system designs that address those needs.
  • Prepare equipment analyses and brief the sales force and customers on capabilities.
  • Develop and present sales proposals and technical documentation as required.

Gathers information concerning the capabilities of company products; investigates the technical capabilities of company products and competing equipment; stays abreast of developments in hardware and software; analyzes customer problems; assists in designing systems to satisfy customer needs. Prepares equipment analysis to instruct sales force and customers in equipment capabilities. May prepare and present sales proposals.

Basic Qualifications

  • Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) manufacturing applications with experience in a broad range of operations applications and workflows
  • Experience in manufacturing systems, business processes, and methods

Desired Skills

  • Experience working with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and the related integrations between these systems
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a semi-virtual team.
  • Experience in Aeronautical manufacturing systems, business processes, and methods with the ability to utilize that knowledge in developing a digital manufacturing system.
  • Experience utilizing Agile tools such as Jira
  • Writing and executing detailed test scripts
  • Exerience with technical requirements generation and specification development

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
