ARCI Test Engineer

Sonalysts, Inc. is seeking a Test Engineer with excellent technical knowledge and communication skills to author and update Acoustic Rapid Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) Insertion (A-RCI) Shipboard installation test procedures to support the U.S. submarine force.

Location: Working full-time onsite at Lockheed Martin in Manassas, VA.

What you will be doing:

• Writing A-RCI installation test procedures for all U.S. submarine variants
• Test procedures will cover all aspects of installation including hardware inspections, power on testing, and high level operational and interface testing
• Work with A-RCI installation team to review and update test procedures
• Address comments on test procedures from A-RCI Government representatives

Required Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. citizen, eligible for a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance*
• At least 3 years of recent ARCI Sonar operation and maintenance experience aboard a U.S. submarine
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

Desired Experience/Qualifications:

• Possessing an active Department of Defense SECRET security clearance*
• ARCI Sonar Supervisor Qualified
• Familiarity with hardware drawings and test procedures
• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or technical field
