POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for an Assistant Director to assist the Director of Licensing with the day-to-day operation of the licensing department. Responsibilities include assisting the Director as needed, including: daily office management and long-term strategic planning for branding and licensing; approving and promoting the correct use of logos/images/trademarks on retail and internal merchandise; building ties with licensees, retailers, campus groups, and external licensing partners such as the Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC); and reviewing royalty reports and analyzing data to guide revenue strategies. This position requires the incumbent to have strong administrative, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills; be organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated; work independently and as part of a collaborative team; multitask effectively; engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds; and work a non-standard work week which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, and potential overnight travel.
