Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Brooklyn, NY | Full-Time | On-Site A respected healthcare organization in Brooklyn is seeking an experienced nursing professional to step into an Assistant Director of Nursing role. This position plays a key part in supporting clinical operations, strengthening staff performance, and maintaining high standards of patient care within a dynamic care setting. Key Responsibilities Assist in overseeing daily nursing operations to ensure quality and compliance standards are met Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to nursing staff Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care outcomes Participate in staff evaluations, coaching, and professional development efforts Support initiatives focused on operational efficiency and continuous improvement Required Qualifications Possession of an active New York State RN license Master’s degree in Nursing with a minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, including 3 years in a supervisory or teaching capacity, or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with 6 years of experience, including 4 years in a supervisory or teaching capacity Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to effectively guide and support a diverse clinical team Position Overview Full-time, on-site role Standard weekday schedule Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates
