About the roles:
We are recruiting for multiple exciting SAO1 opportunities within Workforce Development.
As an Assistant Director in Workforce Strategy, you will lead a small team delivering enterprise workforce planning and workforce development solutions that build capability and support workforce sustainability across the Northern Territory Public Sector. This role combines leadership, stakeholder engagement and strategic workforce planning expertise.
Key Duties:
- Lead and coach a workforce development team.
- Design and implement agency level strategic workforce planning initiatives.
- Partner with agencies to address workforce capability and capacity challenges.
- Provide strategic advice and workforce development solutions.
We are seeking experienced professionals who can demonstrate:
- Strong strategic thinking, analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management capability.
- Experience leading complex workforce initiatives, programs and organisational change projects.
- Excellent written communication, executive briefing and reporting skills.
- Ability to influence outcomes and work effectively across multiple agencies, senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in workforce planning, workforce development and team leadership.
- Proven ability to develop and implement workforce strategies that address capability, capacity and workforce sustainability challenges.
