Assistant Manager - SAP FI/CO

We are seeking a highly motivated SAP FI/CO Consultant to support and enhance our SAP Finance & Controlling landscape. The ideal candidate should possess strong functional expertise in SAP FI with hands-on configuration experience and an in-depth understanding of Indian taxation and finance processes.

The role involves working closely with Finance, Accounts, Taxation, Procurement, Sales, and IT teams to support business operations, implement enhancements, resolve production issues, and ensure statutory compliance across SAP Finance processes.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide end-to-end functional support for SAP FI/CO modules and ensure smooth day-to-day business operations.

· Configure, maintain, and support SAP Finance modules including: General Ledger (GL),Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA),Bank Accounting and Bank Reconciliation

· Support period-end and year-end financial closing activities.

· Configure and maintain Indian taxation requirements, including:

o Goods & Services Tax (GST)

o Tax Deducted at Source (TDS)

o Tax Collected at Source (TCS)

· Work closely with Finance and Tax teams to implement statutory and regulatory changes in SAP.

· Analyse business requirements and prepare functional specifications for developments and enhancements.

· Coordinate with ABAP developers for custom reports, interfaces, forms, and enhancements.

· Perform configuration, unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

· Resolve production issues within agreed SLAs and provide root cause analysis for recurring issues.

· Ensure seamless integration between SAP FI/CO and other SAP modules such as MM, SD, PS, and PM.

· Support SAP master data management related to Finance, including GL Accounts, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders, and Asset Masters.

· Participate in SAP upgrades, enhancement packs, and implementation of new business processes.

· Prepare functional documentation, SOPs, user manuals, and conduct end-user training.

· 5–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO implementation and support.

· Strong configuration knowledge in SAP FI.

· Strong knowledge of Indian statutory taxation including GST, TDS/TCS.

· Experience in preparing Functional Specifications (FS) for custom developments.

Working knowledge of integration between SAP FI and Materials Management (MM), Sales & Distribution (SD), Project Systems (PS)
