PAK’nSAVE Blenheim is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Night Fill Trading Manager to join our team. This key support role works closely with the Night Fill Trading Manager to assist with the planning, organisation and day-to-day operation of the night fill function across our Dry Goods departments. You will play an important role in supporting the team to achieve high merchandising standards, maintain stock availability, and ensure our customers enjoy a well-stocked shopping experience every day. What You'll Do Support the Night Fill Trading Manager in leading and motivating the Night Fill team. Assist in ensuring stock presentation and shelf-fill standards are maintained across all Dry Goods departments. Help coordinate and prioritise nightly workloads to achieve operational goals. Supervise team members and provide guidance when required. Assist with rostering, attendance management and workforce planning within budget requirements. Support the training, coaching and development of team members. Assist with stocktakes, inventory control and accurate system updates. Monitor and maintain Health & Safety and Food Safety compliance standards. Promote a positive team culture focused on safety, customer service and continuous improvement. Operate forklifts safely and efficiently where required. Act in the absence of the Night Fill Trading Manager when required. Work collaboratively with department managers to ensure store readiness and customer expectations are met. What We're Looking For An NZQF level 5 qualification or 3 years relevant work experience Sound SAP and Excel capabilities to achieve supermarket financial KPI’s Current Forklift Licence Proven decision-making abilities with exceptional organisational, presentation and planning skills. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a management or supervisory role in retail or supermarket Strong IT skills – confident with spreadsheets and systems Great attitude and an always-improving mindset Excellent time management and problem-solving skills Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively Commitment to Health & Safety and team wellbeing Preferred Skills and Qualifications Current Forklift Licence. Inventory control experience. First Aid Certificate. Experience with supermarket systems and processes. Previous experience in a leadership or senior team member role. Why Join Us? Position Details Permanent Full-Time Position Reporting to the Night Fill Trading Manager Remuneration between $28-$32 per hour Minimum 40 hours per week Includes one weekend day Sunday to Wednesday - 8:30pm to 7am.
