LLC Group is a London-based specialist subcontractor delivering drylining, Steel Framing Systems (SFS), painting and associated finishing trades across residential, co-living, student accommodation and commercial developments.
We work alongside leading main contractors on projects throughout London, delivering high-quality construction and finishing packages from initial installation through to completion and handover.
Our principal construction activities include drylining, partitions, ceilings and SFS, supported by additional services such as painting and decorating, builders cleaning, specialist surface repairs and abseiling.
We are looking for a motivated Assistant Site Manager to join our growing London operations team.
This opportunity is particularly suited to a recent university graduate with a background in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related construction discipline.
We welcome applications from graduates who have completed their undergraduate education overseas and subsequently undertaken postgraduate studies in the UK, including candidates with previous practical construction experience.
The successful candidate will work alongside experienced site managers and project managers, supporting the delivery of our construction packages on residential and mixed-use developments throughout London.
Our primary focus is on drylining and SFS, although the role will also provide exposure to painting, decorating, builders cleaning and associated finishing works.
Previous drylining or SFS experience would be advantageous but is not essential. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong technical foundation, willingness to learn and an interest in developing a long-term career in construction management.
- Assist with the day-to-day management and coordination of site activities, primarily drylining and SFS packages.
- Support the planning, sequencing and monitoring of construction works against project programmes.
- Coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials and site deliveries.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
- Monitor workmanship, carry out quality inspections and assist with snagging and handover.
- Attend site meetings and communicate effectively with main contractors, consultants and internal management.
- Maintain site records, progress reports, labour records and project documentation.
- Support health and safety compliance and the implementation of safe working practices.
- Assist with material procurement, cost monitoring and basic project controls.
- Support the coordination of additional trades, including painting and builders cleaning.
- Recently graduated with a bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- A recent UK postgraduate qualification in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is particularly desirable.
- Previous construction experience, including internships, site engineering or overseas construction experience, would be advantageous.
- An understanding of residential construction, construction methods and site operations.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction specifications.
- Good communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- An understanding of UK construction health and safety practices, or a willingness to learn.
- A valid CSCS card, or willingness to obtain one.
Previous experience in drylining, SFS, partitions, ceilings or residential fit-out would be beneficial, but is not a requirement.
- Starting rate of £120 per day.
- Practical experience on residential and mixed-use developments throughout London.
- Direct exposure to specialist drylining and SFS construction packages.
- Mentoring and guidance from experienced construction professionals.
- Opportunities to develop technical knowledge, site management capabilities and project coordination skills.
- Potential for career progression within LLC Group.
- Consideration of UK visa sponsorship for eligible candidates where the role and agreed salary package satisfy the applicable immigration requirements.
We are looking for someone enthusiastic, reliable and keen to develop their career in the UK construction industry. A positive attitude, technical understanding and willingness to take responsibility are particularly important.
Recent graduates and candidates with previous international construction experience are encouraged to apply.
