About the Role
Join a collaborative civil litigation team handling matters from case initiation through settlement or trial. You will independently manage your caseload, with support from paralegals and experienced colleagues, and contribute directly to case strategy and outcomes.
What You'll Do
Manage civil litigation cases from intake through resolution, including settlement or trial.
Draft and argue motions, conduct discovery, and take and defend depositions.
Attend hearings, argue motions, and prepare for and conduct bench or jury trials.
Meet with clients to develop litigation strategies and negotiate settlement agreements.
Collaborate in person with colleagues on case strategy and litigation planning.
What We're Looking For
At least 6 years of civil litigation experience, including substantial motion practice and discovery.
A J.D. from an accredited law school and active Washington State Bar membership in good standing, or the ability to obtain it.
Experience independently managing cases and a caseload with minimal supervision.
Strong legal writing, deposition experience, and the ability to draft and argue motions through summary judgment.
Trial experience as first or second chair is valued, as is demonstrated readiness to take cases to trial.
Experience in employment law, school law, insurance defense, or general civil litigation.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation is $150,000 to $200,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
