Senior Litigation Attorney

About the Role

Join a growing civil litigation practice and independently manage a full docket across commercial, real estate, construction, and general civil matters. This senior role contributes to case strategy and client service, with the opportunity to help develop practice areas aligned with your expertise.

What You'll Do

• Manage civil litigation matters from case strategy through trial, including motion practice, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.

• Work with firm leadership on litigation strategy and client matters.

• Provide substantive, responsive communication to clients throughout their cases.

• Meet a minimum billable requirement of 120 hours per month, with quarterly bonuses for eligible work above the threshold.

• Contribute to practice growth by developing areas of work that align with your interests and experience.

What We're Looking For

• At least 12 years of civil litigation experience and a history of independently managing a litigation docket.

• Trial experience across multiple cases, along with strong motion practice, discovery, deposition, legal writing, and oral advocacy skills.

• Experience in commercial, real estate, construction, or general civil litigation; business torts, business dissolution matters, and appeals are valuable.

• Strong client communication skills and the ability to work independently in a small, growing law firm.

• A JD from an accredited law school and eligibility for the Idaho State Bar, either through active membership or readiness to waive in.

• Familiarity with Westlaw and Westlaw AI.

• Willingness to work in the Boise area and build a long-term Idaho-based practice.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary is $130,000 to $150,000 annually, with an uncapped quarterly bonus opportunity. The stated annual bonus range is $25,000 to $50,000 or more, based on eligible hours and revenue. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

Hybrid, with 3 to 4 days per week in the office. Primary location: Eagle, Idaho.
