Attend hearings and handle bench and jury trials.
Meet with clients to develop litigation strategy and negotiate or execute settlements.
Collaborate in person with colleagues on case strategy.
What We're Looking For
At least 6 years of civil litigation experience, including strong legal writing, motion practice through summary judgment, and discovery.
A J.D. from an accredited law school and active Washington State Bar membership in good standing, or the ability to obtain it.
Experience independently managing a caseload, taking and defending depositions, and handling matters with minimal supervision.
Trial experience as first or second chair is valued, as is demonstrated readiness to try cases.
Background in employment law, school law, insurance defense, or general civil litigation.
A stable employment history; candidates must have no history of bar discipline or criminal convictions.
Willingness to work on-site each day in Seattle.
