Associate Deployment Strategist (Enterprise AI)

New York, NY (preferred) or San Francisco, CA | On-site, 5 days a week | Full-time | $120K–$150K base + equity

Careerscape is hiring an Associate Deployment Strategist on behalf of a fast-growing, venture-backed AI startup that builds AI agents to automate back-office operations for large enterprises in the logistics industry. The company is growing quickly, works with Fortune 500 customers on platform deals worth $500K–$2M+, and is hiring two people for this role.

This is a client-facing deployment role, not a traditional internal product management role. You'll be one of the first members of a small team building the deployment function from scratch, owning enterprise rollouts from first discovery call through go-live.

What you'll do

• Own enterprise customer deployments end to end, from discovery and workflow design through go-live and long-term success
• Serve as the executive point of contact for high-value accounts, managing stakeholder communication and expectations
• Translate complex business processes into AI agent workflows, partnering closely with engineers
• Manage 1–3 concurrent high-stakes accounts with different timelines
• Travel about 30% of the time for customer milestones, sometimes on short notice
• Help build and scale the deployment playbook as a foundational hire

What you'll bring

• 1–3 years in a client-facing role (consulting, implementation, engagement management, solutions, business operations or similar) with direct experience implementing software for enterprise customers
• Executive presence and polished, native-level English communication, with regular exposure to VP and C-suite stakeholders
• Strong technical acumen: comfortable with LLMs, APIs, JSON, SQL, Excel and SaaS tools, and able to map customer workflows to AI agent designs
• Hands-on interest in AI, such as building your own agents or tools
• Comfort with ambiguity and a high-intensity startup pace (often 60+ hour weeks)
• Located in, or willing to relocate to, New York or San Francisco

Compensation and details

• $120,000–$150,000 base salary plus competitive equity
