As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you’ll play an important role in delivering a range of services—from acute, chronic, residential aged care to emergency support—while being supported through training and teamwork. The Role The Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) at KIHHC plays a vital leadership role in supporting the Nurse Unit Manager with the day-to-day coordination of clinical care and operational activities. Key responsibilities include supervising and mentoring nursing staff, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety, contributing to staff development, and assisting with resource management and shift planning. The ANUM also plays an active role in quality improvement initiatives and supports a positive and collaborative team culture within the unit. You will need Demonstrated clinical experience in Emergency, Acute Care and Aged Care. Proven leadership skills with experience in supervising and supporting nursing staff in a clinical setting. Details of appointment Permanent part time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working 36 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed upon date. *notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies. Salary $109,767 to $115,813 per annum pro rata. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023. In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type Salary Packaging You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible. Regional Allowances District Allowances of up to $4,618 per annum for a family Remote Professional Development Allowance of $4,062 per annum and an additional salary allowance of 10% Benefits available to eligible candidates Travel and relocation assistance support available up to $10,000 for appointees from interstate. Professional development and accelerated pathways. A range of leave entitlements, including study leave and Professional Development Support. Fitness Passport – You, and your family can access 40+ fitness facilities across Tasmania for just $14.50 per week per person, or $28.05 for a family.
