Associate Veterinarian (DVM) | Animal Clinic of Muskegon | Muskegon, Michigan Veterinarian Job Opportunity in Muskegon, Michigan Animal Clinic of Muskegon is seeking an Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join our compassionate and collaborative small animal practice in beautiful Muskegon, Michigan. We welcome veterinarians of all experience levels, including new graduates seeking mentorship and experienced DVMs looking for a supportive team environment. Our hospital is dedicated to providing high-quality veterinary medicine and exceptional client service. We offer comprehensive pet care including wellness exams, preventive medicine, vaccinations, dentistry, surgery, diagnostics, and client education. What You'll Do Perform physical examinations and develop treatment plans for companion animals Diagnose and treat medical conditions in dogs and cats Perform routine surgical and dental procedures Educate clients on preventive care and treatment recommendations Collaborate with veterinarians and support staff to provide exceptional patient care Maintain accurate medical records and documentation Build lasting relationships with clients and their pets Requirements & Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Michigan, or eligible to obtain licensure Ability to provide high-quality medical care for companion animals Strong interpersonal, communication, and client service skills Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment Commitment to compassionate patient care and exceptional client experiences Preferred Qualifications Experience in small animal general practice Surgical and dental proficiency Interest in preventive medicine and wellness care Desire to mentor or be mentored in a collaborative environment Ability to effectively communicate treatment recommendations and medical information to clients Core Competencies Companion Animal Medicine Diagnostic and Clinical Reasoning Surgery and Dentistry Client Communication and Education Relationship Building Team Collaboration Problem Solving and Decision Making Time Management and Organization Adaptability and Flexibility Medical Record Documentation Professionalism and Integrity Commitment to Continuing Education and Growth Why Join Animal Clinic of Muskegon?
