We are growing and excited to welcome an Associate Veterinarian who wants to practice high-quality medicine in a supportive, collaborative environment where relationships matter and your work truly makes an impact. 4 days/week with a strong surgical case load.

Village Veterinary Clinic is an established small animal practice serving the Mayfield community. Surgery is a real part of the opportunity.If the OR is one of your favorite places to be, we want to hear from you. You'll have the opportunity to perform surgery regularly while still maintaining the variety of a GP caseload.

Four days means four days.Your full-time schedule is approximately 36–40 hours across four days per week, giving you a consistent day away from the hospital each week.

Practice medicine with autonomy.We trust our doctors to be doctors. You'll have the ability to make clinical decisions, develop your interests, and practice medicine in a way that works for you and your patients.

You won't be doing it alone.You'll join an experienced veterinary team that values collaboration, communication, and utilizing the entire team to support excellent patient care.

What Your Week Could Look Like

Your week will include a mix of surgical and general practice cases, giving you the opportunity to maintain strong client relationships while spending meaningful time doing the procedures you enjoy.

Our hospital offers comprehensive small animal medicine, including:

• Soft-tissue surgery

• Dentistry

• Preventive and wellness care

• Diagnostic medicine and imaging

• In-house diagnostics

• Medical case management

You are..

• A US-licensed DVM or equivalent

• A strong communicator who values client education and teamwork

• Collaborative, supportive, and comfortable sharing ideas and learning from others

• Flexible and able to adapt as cases and schedules change

• Interested in practicing medicine that balances advanced care with compassion

Our base salary range is from (105K - 130K) (or higher) based on experience and production capabilities. We have pro-sal and salary options and we’re open to offering a sign-on bonus or relocation package. We can be creative with your total compensation package so that you get the things you need to be able to come join us!
