Automotive Bodyshop Technician

Description COMPENSATION PAY PLAN $28/flat rate hour with 38-hour guarantee Are you an experienced technician who loves working on cars and looking for the opportunity to advance your career in the automotive service industry? If so, Hall Automotive has just what you are looking for! We are seeking skilled Automotive Collision Repair Technicians who are team players with a great work ethic and a get-it-done attitude. This position will require you to perform collision repairs, restoration and modifications, and weather damage, etc. WE OFFER Excellent Vacation Policy – 5 days after 90 days Paid Training Toolbox Moving Expenses Tuition Assistance Program Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Group Accident & Critical Illness Short-Term Disability 401k Discounts on products, services, and vehicles Employee Recognition RESPONSIBILITIES Perform work specified on the repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards Conduct auto body repairs (interior and exterior) including painting, welding, etc. Assemble and disassemble parts as needed Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications Test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment Communicate with Service Advisor so customers are informed if any additional services or repairs are needed - provide an estimate of time needed for such services or repairs QUALIFICATIONS At least 18 years of age Valid driver’s license (required) High school diploma or equivalent (required) 2+ years of Service Technician experience (preferred) Dexterity - requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination Mechanical and troubleshooting skills Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment Basic computer competencies Ability to collaborate with others effectively Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve Ability to adapt to recent/new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications Hall Imports is a family owned and operated VW and Mazda dealership with a history that stretches over a hundred years.
