Job Description This International Education Group, founded in 2013, is a leader in international education across the Greater Bay Area. The group opened its first international kindergarten in Futian in 2014 and has since expanded to multiple themed campuses including Forest International Kindergarten in East Overseas Chinese City, Ocean International Kindergarten in Nanshan, and Technology International Kindergarten in Longgang. Additional campuses themed around science and aviation are currently in development. The group also operates an International High School within the East Overseas Chinese City Education Industry Park, focused on cultivating future leaders and advancing international education standards. Curriculum Overview (About the Role) The kindergarten curriculum emphasizes immersive English learning through thematic, play-based exploration. • Integrates language development with subject areas such as science, technology, and nature • Encourages curiosity and hands-on discovery across diverse themed environments • Supports social-emotional growth and early literacy skills • Aligns with international early childhood best practices • Adapts to individual student needs and learning styles Teachers are provided with curriculum frameworks and collaborative planning support. Position Overview The Kindergarten English Teacher delivers engaging, full-day English instruction to young learners across multiple Shenzhen campuses. This role works within a collaborative international teaching team and reports to the head of early education. Teachers are expected to create a nurturing, language-rich environment that fosters a love of learning. Working Hours • Days: Monday – Friday • Time schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM • Break details: 40 hours per week including planning and lunch time Class Structure • Class size: Approximately 20 – 25 students • Details: Ages 3 to 6, grouped by developmental level • Teaching team per class: o Lead English Teacher o Chinese Homeroom Teacher o Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities • Deliver full-day English instruction through interactive and age-appropriate activities • Plan and implement lessons that align with the thematic curriculum and student interests • Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere • Collaborate with Chinese co-teachers to support bilingual development and classroom management • Observe and document student progress, providing informal feedback to parents and administration • Participate in school events, open houses, and campus-wide celebrations • Engage in professional development and team meetings to continuously improve teaching practice Requirements • Bachelor’s degree or above in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred • Native English speaker from the USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, or New Zealand (visa requirement) • TEFL/TESOL certification required • Previous teaching experience preferred • Must qualify for a legal Z visa • Clean criminal record check and clear bill of health • Active passion for early education and a genuine enthusiasm for learning Benefits • Salary: RMB 18,000 – 25,000/month (based on qualifications and experience) • Paid legal holidays and 1 day for Christmas, with partially paid summer and winter vacations • Commercial accidental insurance provided • Lunch provided on working days • Visa assistance and sponsorship • Housing allowance included • Flight reimbursement upon contract completion • Promotion opportunities within the group
