Barista

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Barista to join our food and beverage team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages, taking customer orders, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other hot and cold beverages according to company standards.
  
• Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, and other beverage preparation equipment.
  
• Prepare espresso-based drinks such as cappuccino, latte, americano, and macchiato.
  
• Take customer orders and process payments accurately.
  
• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
  
• Explain menu items and recommend beverages based on customer preferences.
  
• Maintain consistency in beverage quality, presentation, and portion sizes.
  
• Keep the coffee station, counters, and equipment clean and organized.
  
• Monitor coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, and other supplies.
  
• Check stock levels and report shortages to the supervisor.
  
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
  
• Handle customer feedback and resolve basic service issues professionally.
  
• Assist with opening and closing duties and daily café operations.
  
  
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  
• Previous experience as a Barista or in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment is an advantage.
  
• Freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn may also apply.
  
• Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and espresso-based beverages.
  
• Ability to operate coffee machines and beverage preparation equipment; training may be provided.
  
• Good communication and customer service skills in English.
  
• Friendly, polite, and customer-oriented personality.
  
• Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
  
• Understanding of food hygiene and workplace cleanliness.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Good teamwork and time-management skills.
  
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain beverage quality.
  
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays, according to the work schedule.
