Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of Service Technician experience REQUIRED, preferably with BMW or a similar level German manufacturer, Luxury, Imports, or Domestic brands. BMW Certified level or higher is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent. ASE Certifications required. Demonstrated dexterity, with excellent hand-eye coordination. Proficient mechanical and troubleshooting skills, coupled with the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment. Exceptional customer service skills and basic computer competencies. Positive, friendly attitude, coupled with an eagerness to learn and improve. Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment, fostering effective collaboration. Willingness to adapt to new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications. Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Daily Responsibilities: Execute vehicle repair and maintenance work outlined on repair orders with efficiency and precision, adhering to dealership and factory standards to drive customer loyalty. Maintain regular communication with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to efficiently manage production and ensure seamless customer communication. Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform authorized repairs, ensuring customer satisfaction. Conduct comprehensive multi-point inspections, offering appropriate recommendations to enhance the safety and reliability of customer vehicles. Document all work performed on each vehicle on the repair order with meticulous detail. Manage an inventory of normal Technician’s tools and participate in factory-sponsored training classes to stay abreast of factory technical bulletins.
