We’re partnering with a leading client to find a seasoned Business Analyst to join their team. You’ll be the main link between business stakeholders, IT delivery teams, and vendors on a major initiative to standardize and scale an internally developed analysis platform as the business expands into new markets. You’ll shape the requirements, steer the project plan, and see the work through testing, deployment, and handoff. If you like owning a program from first workshop to go-live, keep reading.
What You’ll Own
- You’ll lead requirement workshops and document the business, functional, data, and integration requirements that shape the platform.
- You’ll build and maintain the project plan, milestones, risks, dependencies, and decisions, and keep every stakeholder aligned.
- You’ll turn needs into process flows, user stories, use cases, and clear acceptance criteria that delivery teams can build from.
- You’ll run Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, and release activities.
- You’ll coordinate system integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), track defects, and secure business sign-off.
- You’ll prepare executive updates, project dashboards, and steering committee materials, then guide production readiness, knowledge transfer, and support handoff.
What You Bring
Must-haves:
- You bring 3+ years as a Business Analyst, turning business needs into actionable deliverables.
- You’ve supported technology delivery, platform modernization, or business transformation initiatives from start to finish.
- You work confidently in Agile and the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including scheduling, risk tracking, and project reporting.
- You facilitate stakeholder discussions and present clearly to both business and executive audiences.
Strong plus:
- You’ve worked in energy, utilities, trading, or market analysis environments, including energy trading and risk management (ETRM) systems or ISO/RTO (Independent System Operator / Regional Transmission Organization) markets. This helps, but it isn’t required.
- You know tools such as Power BI, SQL (Structured Query Language), Jira, or Azure DevOps, and you’ve worked with cloud applications such as AWS (Amazon Web Services) and data integration or reporting platforms.
What We Offer
- A 12-month contract with renewal based on performance
- Your choice of W2 or 1099 structure
- A fully on-site role in Palm Beach County, with relocation welcome
- Equipment and workspace provided on-site, so you can focus on the work
- Direct visibility with executive and steering committee audiences
About the Team
You’ll work across business, IT, and vendor teams, and you’ll be the person who keeps them moving in the same direction. This role gives you real ownership of a platform initiative, from requirements through deployment. You’ll see your work go live and be adopted.
