Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Finance Global Services team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a permanent basis, commencing at the earliest possible date as a Business Analyst Reinsurance and Underwriting Systems. We develop and maintain systems that support key underwriting and reinsurance administration processes. Working closely with business departments and software developers, we shape the ongoing development of our application landscape and drive the implementation of the new reinsurance platform, nextRe.
You can look forward to

Contributing to the further development of the system landscape supporting underwriting and reinsurance administration

Defining business requirements for new solutions and supporting their implementation in collaboration with developers

Analysing existing applications and identifying improvements for underwriting processes, data quality, and user experience

Driving the business-side development of the reinsurance platform nextRe

Supporting and optimising the tools and applications used within nextRe across the end-to-end business processes

Eliciting, documenting, and prioritising business and technical requirements in close cooperation with business units and stakeholders
You come equipped with
-
A degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, or a comparable qualification

Several years of professional experience as an Underwriter or Actuary, ideally within the reinsurance sector

A strong interest in the development of IT systems and digital solutions

Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken

The ability to analyse complex issues in a structured manner, identify interdependencies, and develop sustainable solutions

A proactive and self-driven approach to managing topics, collaborating effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, and quickly acquiring new knowledge independently
