About This Programme

Ready to launch your career in sales with one of the UK's most recognisable brands?

Sky Business is offering an exciting graduate opportunity for ambitious individuals looking to break into customer-facing sales. You'll be joining a high-performing team that delivers cutting-edge content and connectivity solutions to businesses across our Mid-Market, Hospitality and Wholesale business areas.

This two-year programme is designed to develop future sales leaders through structured training and hands-on experience. You'll complete four rotations, each beginning with formal training and sector-specific development, followed by immersive sales roles.

You'll join a small, close-knit cohort of graduates who will help shape the future of Sky Business. With structured training, real client interactions and rotational placements across different sales functions, this programme is ideal for ambitious graduates who want to build a career in commercial sales and strategy.

Location and salary

You'll start in Leeds before either remaining in Leeds or moving to Osterley after your initial rotation, when not visiting customers. The role includes national travel.

Salary Package

  • £32,000 per annum on joining
  • £2,000 relocation allowance
  • After six months:
    • £35,000 per annum for those based in Osterley
    • £32,000 per annum for those remaining in Leeds
  • Commission opportunities
  • Company car
What you'll be doing

Your journey begins with a comprehensive four-week onboarding programme covering:

  • Product knowledge
  • Sales skills and techniques
  • Shadowing opportunities

Each rotation builds on the last, with tailored training modules combining:

  • Classroom learning
  • Field visits
  • Shadowing
  • Role-play exercises

Throughout the programme, you'll be supported through coaching, mentoring and continual development.

By the final rotation, you'll be fully accredited and ready to step into a permanent sales role.

To help you build strong foundations and learn alongside your peers, you'll spend the first six months based in the Leeds office in a desk-based role. This will allow you to develop core skills, build relationships with your graduate cohort and learn from each other's experiences.

After this initial rotation, you'll have the opportunity to be based in Leeds or Osterley while travelling across the country to meet clients. One week you could be in Plymouth, the next in London.

Sky will support your move to Leeds through a relocation allowance, and you'll receive a company car to support business travel.

In addition to your base salary, you'll have the opportunity to earn commission, rewarding your performance and contribution.

During the two-year programme, you'll gain a deep understanding of how Sky Business operates and delivers value to clients.
