Regional referral center with advanced surgical services•
Support / Care Team:
Three employed surgeons, cardiology team, APPs, and full hospital support staff•
EMR / Technology:
Advanced surgical technology including hybrid ORs and robotics
Responsibilities
Perform a comprehensive range of cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures• Participate in the development and expansion of the structural heart program• Utilize robotics-assisted surgical techniques (experience preferred but not required)• Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, APPs, and multidisciplinary care teams• Manage perioperative and inpatient care responsibilities• Document patient care using hospital EMR system

Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery• Active or eligible Texas medical license• Interest in structural heart and advanced cardiac procedures• Robotics experience preferred but not required• Spanish-speaking ability is a plus, but not required
