Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse (RN CVOR) Orlando, FL | Full-Time | Days with Rotating Weekends Annual Salary Range: $72,400 to $102,000 (Equivalent to $34.85 $49.06/hour, Based on Experience) On-Call Pay: $4.00/hour + Time-and-a-Half When Called In Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 | Relocation Assistance: Available Case by Case Overview A leading Central Florida surgical team is hiring an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) to support an expanding heart and vascular program in the Orlando metro area . This position provides exposure to open-heart, thoracic, and hybrid vascular procedures , as well as opportunities to circulate in general operating room cases. You will work in a state-of-the-art surgical suite designed for collaboration, precision, and innovation, surrounded by a multidisciplinary team committed to quality and patient-centered care. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive perioperative care for adult cardiac and vascular surgery patients. Circulate and scrub in for open-heart, vascular, and thoracic procedures. Ensure the OR environment is properly prepared with instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia teams, and perfusionists to deliver safe, efficient procedures. Monitor and document patient status throughout surgery, intervening as necessary. Participate in call rotation and respond to call-ins within 30 minutes. Educate patients and families on preoperative preparation and postoperative recovery.
