Cardiovascular Sonographer Location: Abilene, TX Salary: $63,000 - $70,000 per year Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 Relocation Assistance: $5,000 for applicants relocating 200+ miles away Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift, Monday to Friday Job Summary Join our team as a Cardiovascular Sonographer , where you'll perform diagnostic cardiovascular examinations and deliver exceptional patient care in a collaborative and professional environment. You'll play a vital role in identifying and assessing heart and vascular conditions, contributing to life-saving diagnoses. Key Responsibilities Conduct diagnostic cardiovascular exams as per physician orders and department protocols. Generate preliminary reports for physician interpretation. Document procedures and manage electronic records. Communicate critical findings to Cardiologists and referring physicians. Collaborate with team leaders to address workflow, significant findings, and equipment issues. Maintain equipment and ensure quality performance during procedures. Requirements Education: High School Diploma. Experience: 1 year of on-the-job training or graduation from an accredited ultrasound school. Licenses/Certifications: Required: RDCS or RCS (Adult Echocardiography) or RVT or RVS (Vascular Sonography) within 1 year of hire. CPR certification. Skills: Expertise in cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures. Proficiency in operating ultrasound systems, PVR, BP monitors, and computer systems.
