The dollar is the best product in the history of the world, with practically infinite global demand, but distribution is broken. Global clearing runs on legacy banks that are closed 115 days a year, built for humans and take two days to settle. Augustus is the update to the internet era. We received conditional approval from the OCC to charter America’s first stablecoin-native clearing bank that is always open, made for machines, at the speed of compute. We are a group of operators, unicorn early employees, ex-founders and people who walked away from degrees because they believe this is an industry and career defining opportunity. We're backed with $40M from Peter Thiel’s Valar Ventures, Creandum and founders of Ramp, Deel and Circle. We are regulated in Europe and live with Euro and Stablecoin clearing today. Now, we are building the US team from the ground up, while continuing to grow rapidly in Europe. The Role You sit inside the CEO office and work directly with the founders and leadership team on the most important topics at Augustus: strategy, new opportunities, and getting high-impact projects from idea to execution. You own independent analyses, drive strategic projects end to end, and coordinate across the organisation to make things happen. The scope shifts with the company's priorities. One week you're deep in a market entry analysis, the next you're pulling together the business case for a new product. The Path Forward: Get deep into how the company works today - strategy, operations, product - and you are positioning yourself to own a P&L or product line as we scale. You move fast, communicate clearly, and follow through without being chased. You want broad exposure early: strategy, product, operations, and everything in between. This is not for you if: You need a clearly defined scope to do your best work. You prefer depth in one area over breadth across many. You're not comfortable presenting your work and defending your reasoning directly to senior leadership. You want to work 9-5. Hard Requirements At least two years of work experience in consulting, banking, or growth stage companies. Bachelor’s or master’s degree from a top-tier university with excellent grades. In New York or ready to relocate. Pay transparency Compensation packages at Augustus include base salary, equity, and benefits. New hire offers are made based on a candidate's experience, expertise and geographic location. The annual US base salary range for this role is $150,000-$180,000 + equity.
