Certified Surgical Technologist – Full-Time

Location: Fairbanks, AK

Job Type: Direct Hire | Full-Time

Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (40 hours/week) with call coverage

Pay: $28.47–$44.49/hour (based on experience and education)

A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist II/III to support surgical teams by preparing instruments, maintaining sterile techniques, and providing high-quality patient care during procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments, sutures, and sterile supplies.
• Maintain aseptic technique and follow safety protocols.
• Anticipate surgical team needs and ensure efficient workflow.
• Assist with operating room setup, turnover, and inventory management.
• Support training and orientation of surgical technology staff and students.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience preferred.
• Ability to scrub proficiently in at least two surgical specialties.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
