Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) a leading company in safety‑critical software for aerospace, defence and transport, is looking for Chief Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead to join an international aerospace and defence programme in Germany.

What you will do

• Lead and mentor multiple Scrum teams and Scrum Masters, promoting a servant-leadership mindset.

• Coach Product Owners, engineering teams and senior stakeholders on Scrum and SAFe practices.

• Facilitate cross-team coordination, dependency management and programme planning.

• Identify risks, remove impediments and drive effective delivery.

• Support Configuration Management activities including version control, baselines, change control and traceability.

• Align Agile delivery with Systems Engineering, requirements, integration and verification activities.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and quality standards.

• Define and monitor Agile KPIs, delivery performance and team predictability.

• Promote continuous improvement, quality assurance and risk-based testing.

• Work closely with Product Management and business stakeholders to ensure delivery aligns with strategic objectives.

What we’re looking for:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or a related field.

• Experience leading or coaching multiple Scrum teams, with strong knowledge of Scrum, SAFe and Agile coaching.

• Knowledge of Jira, BigPicture and Atlassian tools, as well as Agile metrics and KPIs.

• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD environments is a plus.

• Background in aerospace, defence or other regulated industries is highly valued.

• Fluent English; German language skills and Agile certifications (CSP, SPC or equivalent) are a plus.
