China Market Liaison

A Doha-based creative agency is hiring a China Market Liaison. You'll be the day-to-day bridge between the agency, its China content partner and a major destination-marketing client. You make sure China social content is accurate, culturally right and approved fast.

What you'll do

• Be the main contact between the client, the agency and the China content team

• Turn client feedback into clear edits the content team can act on

• Fact-check venues, dates, prices and names before anything goes for approval

• Review Chinese copy and visuals for tone and cultural fit

• Keep approvals on schedule and flag blockers early

• Join shoots, events and venue visits in Qatar, and support visiting Chinese creators and media

• Spot Qatar events and openings worth covering for Chinese audiences

What you need

• Required: you have lived in China and/or you are professionally fluent in Mandarin Chinese

• Ample hands-on experience with RedNote (Xiaohongshu), Douyin, WeChat and Weibo, and a feel for what performs on each

• Fluent business English

• 3+ years in marketing, tourism, hospitality, PR or agency client service

• A sharp eye for wrong facts and unnatural phrasing

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Nice to have

• Destination, airline, hotel or events experience

• KOL coordination

• Already resident in Qatar with a transferable residence permit
