Job Description
Overview
The Civil & Structural Lead Engineer will be responsible for the engineering, design coordination, and delivery of complex semiconductor fabrication plants, cleanrooms, advanced technology facilities, and industrial projects. The role will work closely with Process, Architectural, Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical, and Construction teams to ensure structural designs are safe, efficient, compliant, and capable of supporting sophisticated manufacturing operations.
Your role
· Lead the design and delivery of civil and structural engineering solutions for complex semiconductor fabrication plants, cleanrooms, advanced technology facilities, and industrial projects
· Develop structural concepts, design criteria, calculation packages, technical reports, and engineering specifications.
· Design and review structural systems including reinforced concrete, structural steel, foundations, equipment support structures, elevated service platforms, and industrial buildings.
· Coordinate closely with Process, Architectural, Mechanical, HVAC, and Electrical disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
· Perform and review structural analysis, seismic assessments, foundation design, and equipment load evaluations.
· Ensure structures are designed to accommodate vibration-sensitive semiconductor manufacturing equipment and cleanroom requirements.
· Lead multidisciplinary design reviews, constructability reviews, and value engineering workshops.
· Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, vendor documentation, and technical queries.
· Support procurement activities including technical bid evaluations and vendor assessments.
· Provide engineering support during construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
· Ensure compliance with applicable local and international codes, standards, and client specifications.
· Mentor junior engineers and designers and provide technical leadership across the project team.
· Collaborate with global AtkinsRéalis structural specialists to adopt best practices and deliver consistent engineering quality.
About you
Required Skills
· Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
· Professional Engineer registration or equivalent preferred.
· Minimum 15 years of relevant civil and structural engineering experience.
· Proven experience leading civil and structural design for semiconductor fabrication facilities, cleanrooms, advanced manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or industrial projects.
· Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, steel structures, industrial foundations, equipment support systems, and seismic design.
· Experience with vibration-sensitive facilities and heavy process equipment foundations.
· Experience working within multidisciplinary EPCM/EPC project environments.
· Proficiency in structural engineering software such as ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, SAFE, RAM, or equivalent.
· Familiarity with BIM, Revit, and multidisciplinary coordination tools.
· Strong communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

· 1-Year Fixed-Term Contract (Subject to Extension).
