Rx relief is seeking two Trauma/Internal Medicine Clinical Pharmacy Specialists for full-time, permanent opportunities near Midland, TX. Position Overview Position Title: Trauma/Internal Medicine Clinical Pharmacy Specialist Location: Near Midland, TX Status: Full-Time, Permanent Start Date: ASAP Schedule: Day Shift, 8 days on / 6 days off (6am start) Pay Rate: $63.00 – $70.00/hour (based on 1 year of residency), scaling upward with additional years of experience Shift Differentials: Weekends: +$3.00/hour 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM: +$5.00/hour Incentives & Benefits: Moving stipends and sign-on bonuses available for the right candidate Immediate 401(k) eligibility with employer retirement match Loan Forgiveness eligible Key Responsibilities Round with multi-disciplinary Trauma and Internal Medicine/Family Medicine teams. Manage Pharmacy Consult services, including vancomycin, warfarin, general anticoagulation, and TPNs. Utilize Vigilanz clinical surveillance software for targeted patient care. Participate in Antimicrobial Stewardship rounds. Serve as a core member of the Rapid Response and Code Blue teams. Precept PGY1 and PGY2 Emergency Medicine pharmacy residents, as well as pharmacy students. Drive personal career growth through participation in internal projects, facility committees, and specialized teams. Position Requirements Licensure: Active Pharmacist License with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. Texas Pharmacy Preceptor License must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Experience & Education: Completion of a pharmacy residency program OR over 3 years of clinical pharmacy specialist experience in a hospital setting. Certifications: Specialty certification (e.g., BCPS, BCCCP) preferred. Must obtain board certification through the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (or equivalent) within 3 years of hire if not already achieved. ACLS certification required within 3 months of hire (and maintained throughout employment) for rapid response/code blue team duties. Initial IV Room Certification or documentation of ACPE course completion required within 90 days of hire.
