Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) a leading company in safety‑critical software for aerospace, defence and transport, is looking for Cloud Platform Engineer - AI & Simulation to join our on‑site teams in Germany, supporting strategic projects with Airbus in Germany.

📍 Locations include Immenstaad and other sites across the country.

What you will do

• Operate, maintain and scale Kubernetes clusters in complex environments

• Design and optimize CI/CD and GitOps pipelines using modern DevOps practices

• Automate infrastructure deployment with Terraform, Ansible and Helm

• Implement monitoring, logging and observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana and related tools

• Drive DevSecOps initiatives, including security, compliance and Zero Trust architectures

• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for reliable software delivery

• Work with Docker, Linux containers and cloud-native technologies

• Support AI and simulation platforms through Kubernetes and MLOps practices

• Contribute to microservices and cloud-native architectures

• Collaborate with international teams and support customer deployments when required

What we’re looking for:

• Degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field

• Relevant hands-on experience in Kubernetes, CI/CD and cloud-native technologies

• B2/C1 English Level – mandatory.

• B1/B2 German Level – mandatory.

• Applicants must hold citizenship of a European country.
