Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) a leading company in safety‑critical software for aerospace, defence and transport, is looking for Embedded Software Engineers FCS & FMS to join our on‑site teams in Germany, supporting strategic projects with Airbus in Germany.

What you will do

• Be part of an agile team developing and testing safety-critical real-time software

• Develop embedded applications and low-level software for Flight Control Computers

• Contribute to software architecture, design and technical documentation

• Perform software reviews and support the planning of software increments

• Analyze stakeholder and system requirements, translating them into actionable specifications

• Manage requirements allocation, changes and impact analysis

• Verify that requirements are correctly and completely implemented

• Drive continuous improvements in software design and development processes

What we’re looking for:

• Degree in Aerospace, computer Science or a related field

• Relevant hands-on experience in embedded software development, safety-critical systems and real-time applications.

• B2/C1 English Level – mandatory.

• B1/B2 German Level – mandatory.

• Applicants must hold citizenship of a European country.
